Position Summary
    This position is responsible for developing, integrating, testing, and supporting software for LORD sensing systems. The incumbent will work closely with the hardware and systems engineering teams during development to build user interface and hardware interface software for LORD Sensing’s instrumentation groups. The incumbent will join a small team that maintains and develops:
  • User interface software for both desktop and web-based applications
  • Cloud-based IoT platform to store, monitor, and visualize data
  • Open-source client APIs and libraries for Windows, Linux, and ROS systems
  • Knowledge and experience with C++ 11/14 (smart pointers, lamda expressions, automatic type deduction, std thread)
  • Fundamental understanding and working knowledge of modern web applications
  • Experience with version control (subversion preferred)
  • Experience developing and debugging with Visual Studio (or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software, Computer, or related engineering field
  • 3+ years of experience in software development, test, and integration
