About the Role:

As Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving the product life cycle including research, new feature design, collaboration with engineers, coordination and execution of quality assurance and testing, project and timeline management, and supporting training and implementation for our customer success team. This position reports to PathSpot’s CTO and Co-Founder and will play an essential role in ensuring consistent and effective communication between the product team and all other teams.

We are looking for someone who excels in prioritization, collaboration, and is passionate about technology and its impact on public health. This is a full-time, in-person position working out of PathSpot’s office in New York City.

What you’ll do:

  • Design new product features including defining product and business requirements, UI and wireframe design, create project scopes and timelines, and complete architecture reviews with the engineering team
  • Build and execute robust testing plans
  • Work with the engineering team to meet target deploy dates providing continuous feedback, guidance, and encouragement
  • Research customer requirements, operational impacts and needs, and support cases, and translate these into product improvements
  • Work closely with team members across PathSpot to gather customer feedback and set priorities and expectations on product initiatives
  • Lead communication between the product and customer success teams, build and maintain product documentation, become a product expert and go-to source for questions
  • Create and manage backlogs, organize and prioritize product request for customers and team members

Who you are:

  • 2-5 years of product design or product management experience, preference for B2B SaaS applications AND hardware IoT
  • Experience working with technical teams including proficiency with SQL and coding fundamentals
  • Familiarity with AWS, cloud concepts, and IoT system concepts
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Experience deploying successful products
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and flexible mindset around testing new approaches and the ability to turn failures or roadblocks into wins
  • Subscribe to the mindset that a project has not added value until it’s added value for a customer
  • Understand the tradeoffs between product timeline and perfectionism, knowing when and how to prevent scope creep
  • Able to work in person from PathSpot’s office in New York City 5 days a week
