Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of software development experience, or 1 year with a relevant advanced degree.
  • Experience with embedded systems design in C or C++.
  • Experience with embedded programming.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working with embedded processors and graphics programming.
  • Performance analysis and optimization experience particularly in the domains of embedded systems or machine learning.
  • Experience with RTOS development on microcontrollers or embedded processors.
  • Experience working with vendors and contract manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following: microcontrollers, DSP, device drivers, hardware bringup, power management, ARM processors, performance optimization, file systems, bootloading, firmware, or hardware/software integration.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams.

  • Architect, design, and develop software for embedded processors.
  • Write robust, reliable, efficient, and testable low-level software to interface with sensors, displays, and other peripherals.
  • Optimize and tune system power and performance across the stack.
  • Work closely with other teams on solving cross-functional problems to create compelling experiences.
