Job Description
Seeking a driven, self-motivated and hands-on technical expert to join the Intel IOTG Platform Capabilities and Application Engineering (PCAE) team to architect, incubate, implement and deploy holistic IOT edge and cloud solutions harnessing both hardware and software ingredients solving real world customer problems. Having a system-wide view of complete solutions is critical to be successful in this position. Working directly with business units, customers as well as ecosystem partners, you will be able to leverage and enhance existing reference architectures as well as fill in gaps, to stand up end-to-end software-defined IOT solutions in labs. This role includes architectural planning and design, integration, debugging, performance optimizations, benchmarking, publishing collaterals for scale, and facilitating deployments. We are looking for someone who not only understands the challenges of next generation software-defined IOT solutions, but will actively contribute toward making that a reality applying Intel and partner technologies. Experience with new open source frameworks in a cloud-first architecture for IOT, leveraging existing CNCF and other open software, and creating IOT solutions for industrial, retail, education, banking, entertainment, automotive and AI.
Experience in edge/cloud software technologies including Kubernetes, Openstack, Docker/Docker Swarm, and CNFC ecosystem Strong Linux background and skills Hands-on experience in creating and building Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers Knowledge of enabling and developing micro services, scaling applications across a cluster Experience in creating, debugging and optimizing Orchestration policies, Schedulers Working knowledge of Virtualization, para-virtualization, and hypervisors is a plus Programming Knowledge: C, C++, Python, Golang.
