Product Verification & Lifecycle Mgmt > Turbine, Software & Component Testing > SW & Component Testing
Software and Component Testing is responsible to deliver software products tested and verified for Vestas Wind turbines, SCADA, Power Plant Controller. We test and verify the software products in hardware-in-loop environments and end-end test environments comprising of device under test as software components ranging from SCADA, Power plant controller and WTG controllers software deployed in respective Hardware. Software testing team is responsible for maintaining the hardware-in-loop test systems., ensuring automatic test execution. Software testing areas in recent times is making use of cloud-based solutions, IoT platforms, Digitization techniques to ensure we provide best in class solutions to our customers.
We are a team of around 200+ engineers spread between Denmark, Portugal & India working in a highly innovative technology-centric and process significant environment.

Providing testing solutions to software products by using model based development tools and automating the processes
By using the inbuild software tools, open source tools available in market
Not limited to write scripts to automate the process, implement the tests suites in a hardware -in -loop environment
Do experiments with model based tools in supporting technology development by interacting with developers, test team members and peers
The work involves high level of understanding the requirements of features developed in Vestas Products
Testing is performed with close collaboration with Technical leads
You will be also responsible for documenting and presenting your work in a precise way to your internal and external stakeholders

Education Qualification : M.Tech / ME - Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, Embedded
6-8 years of relevant industry experience
Candidates with Computer science, Electrical, Control systems background with domain experience in automotive, wind, ships, aeronautics industries are preferred
Working knowledge on Object Oriented & State based software design
Hands on working experience in real time embedded systems and networks
Knowledge of dynamical mechanical systems
Interest and knowledge with product or technology development

Hands on experience in CPP programming and exposure to Linux kernel & driver development
Hands on experience in network configurations & debugging. Hands on experience and protocol level understanding about any of the communication technologies such as SPI, IIC, etc
Hands on experience in DevOps, CICD configurations using Jenkins, scripting using python, groovy, ruby, bash, powershell, etc
Hands on experience in using version control tools (git, svn, etc), software package building, task management using JIRA. Nice to have experience in model based development and testing
You succeed as part of a team and it comes naturally to you to collaborate and share knowledge
You have good communication & presentation skills and are fluent in English (speaking and writing)
