Full Job Description
As part of the Implementation team, the Technical Consultant will manage all technical configurations for VMS and ATS related to the MSP and RPO implementation projects. This includes conducting client needs assessment and discovery, leading all data gathering and migration efforts, working in tandem with VMS / ATS partners on system requirements, design, workflow, leading testing efforts (including integration and User Acceptance Testing), conducting PMO system training, and assisting/overseeing special projects for existing MSP and RPO accounts. This role works closely with client stakeholders VMS and ATS product partners to understand the overall Contingent Labor Program and RPO goals and objectives to ensure successful technically sound end-to-end solutions. As unique situations present themselves, the Technical Consultant must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the PeopleScout brand.
This is a remote opportunity that may be performed anywhere except the state of Colorado.
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Achieve and maintain defined VMS AR portfolio goals, targets, and metrics
Analyze VMS account pay patterns and address variances from contractual payment days
Become main point of contact and VMS subject matter expert for back-office functions
Coordinates and leads needs assessment/discovery meetings to collect foundational data and requirements
Conduct uploads of invoice or billing details as appropriate within assigned VMS accounts
Ensure accuracy of consultant bill rates within VMS system and correct variances
Establish professional business relationships with both internal and external customers
Develops and tests invoice according to client criteria to ensure it can be consumed and thoroughly validates sandbox environment prior to UAT testing
Acts as the gatekeeper of all configuration requirements documents and supports in the creation of process flows for the final solution
Responsible for scoping integrations and building timeline to support
Leverages industry leading practices to document and implement VMS technology solutions
Creates and conducts VMS Implementation PM, and end user training
Handle special projects; meet deliverables, milestones, and due dates
Identify and resolve system of record adjustments via VMS account reconciliation
Manage and document account and task activities
Prepare VMS AR status reports and meet with front and back-office leadership to review; discuss strategic and tactical plans to bring accounts current
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly VMS AR reports at a summary and detail level
Proactively addresses VMS reconciliation issues, disputes, fees, discounts, AR variances, debit and credit memos, cash applications and/or any other items causing payment delays
Bachelor's degree preferred
5-7 years VMS implementation or related experience, including SEO/scraping optimization
Deep knowledge and understanding of MSP integration programs/VMS system configurations
Technical Consultant Level Knowledge of VMS systems: SAP Fieldglass, Beeline (IQ Navigator), Simplify, Elevate, Hourglass, Workday and VNDLY
Experience implementing MSP's with contingent labor, payroll, SOW, and/or headcount tracking
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Smartsheet, Lucid Chart, and Snagit a plus
Experience with SFTP and secure end-point API integrations
Experience with VMS database platforms, e.g., MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, specific to data migrations / integrations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
