A little bit about the role:

  • Reporting to the Sr. Director, Human Resources, the Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be managing recruitment activities from A to Z.

What you can expect:

  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment process including pre-screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and offers
  • Schedule interviews across multiple time zones
  • Source and screen qualified candidates by leveraging job boards, referrals, search engines, and other creative headhunting techniques
  • Act as a brand ambassador, communicating and showcasing ORBCOMM culture and values
  • Build relationships with colleges and universities across North America
  • Research and participate in events such as career fairs and technology group meetups
  • Prepare job descriptions and manage postings on ORBCOMM’s careers page, as well as other career sites
  • Deliver the best candidate experience, ensuring a smooth, engaging and efficient process
  • Prepare and process hiring documentation in collaboration with the Human Resources department
  • Set candidate expectations, provide thoughtful feedback, and negotiate & close on offers
  • Support initiatives for sourcing with an emphasis on building a diverse workforce
  • Schedule interviews across multiple time zones

Must-have Skills:

  • 3 or more years’ experience with full cycle recruiting of top talent
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Service-oriented and capable of communicating with employees and candidates at all levels;
  • High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism; must be able to handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity;
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable speaking to hiring managers and candidates on the phone, in person, and via email
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Post-secondary education in the area of Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Ability to embrace change and demonstrate flexibility when direction or priorities shift
