Full Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer, Test Automation (SDET) to join the IoT team at our North American Headquarters in Carlsbad, CA.

What you will contribute
  • Energetic team player who will work for the IoT System Test team as a Software Engineer in Test, specializing in Test Automation. This resource will be responsible for implementing test automation frameworks specializing in iOS and Android mobile application testing. Work with peers across the organization to drive test efficiencies, improve test coverage, and to drive Mobile App Testing with a development mindset. Here is your chance to grow your career in our dynamic fast paced IoT environment working on challenging projects that shape the future of the Pool industry. Additionally, you will:
  • Dedicated to learning new automated frameworks
  • Testing of iOS and Android phones/devices for IoT Mobile applications.
  • Examine product user stories, create test cases, and execute tests.
  • Work multiple projects – context switching – and provide daily status on completed tasks.
  • Provide detailed test execution reports for test automation execution.
What we seek
  • Both technical and non-technical problem solving
  • Experience with iOS, Android, and Flutter device testing
  • Intermediate/Senior Software Quality Assurance skills
  • Intermediate skills in API testing through Postman or other tools.
  • Beginning understanding of AWS
  • Beginning understanding of Python coding and troubleshooting
  • Software Testing Experience with Mobile phones – iOS, Android, and Flutter.
  • Strong experience in Test Automation – web and mobile applications.
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile Development
  • Proven ability of testing multiple projects – context switching and meet project deadlines.
  • Experienced in working with cross functional teams to solve problems
  • Experience in Firmware Testing (any vertical)
  • Experience in data aggregation in Jira, Confluence, SauceLabs experience (Mobile Cloud)
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Experience with Jira for bug tracking, test automation execution, and metrics gathering.
  • Experience with AWS tools.
  • 4+ years’ experience in Software Testing – iOS, Android, Flutter
  • Exposure to various platforms and technologies: API Testing – Postman, Java, Web, Mobile, different IDEs (Eclipse, Flutter, NodeJS).
  • Hands on experience in some form of hardware testing discipline.
  • Experience in writing test cases using Element locators, WebDriver Methods, Java programming
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related discipline
