  • We have a newly created opportunity for a Digital Solutions Developer to join our IT team in Milwaukee, WI. In this role you will design, implement, and evaluate emerging technologies to solve problems.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Strategic digital innovation using PowerApps, RPA, Artificial Intelligence, mobile and other emerging technological platforms. Transform Komatsu’s digital landscape by incorporating leading edge technologies into our best of breed applications suite supporting our global customer base.
  • Learn and evaluate new technologies by building out POC’s to determine how Komatsu could implement such technology as a strategic advantage. Understand how to apply emerging technologies to current business model to gain customer value and create opportunities.
  • Work with Microsoft’s Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Services and other machine learning technologies to solve business problems and create shareholder value.
  • Evaluate new technologies as they become available and determine how Komatsu can utilize these as a strategic advantage for our customers.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate new models and rapid software prototypes to solve problems in machine learning.
  • Perform solution evaluation, building, testing and documentation.
  • Adopt agile approaches focused on delivering business value in shorter increments
  • Build automation workflows with RPA platforms including UIPath and Microsoft Flow.
  • Work on PowerApps to rapidly build out applications to assist service department.
  • Work with machine learning and/or computer-assisted decision making.
  • Build, optimize and deploy machine learning models utilizing cutting edge AI technologies.
  • Stay engaged with digital innovation communities, keep up to date with relevant trends & developments, and attend relevant conferences as needed
  • Create customer specific AI applications to automate reasoning and help customers gain insights on critical predictions and decisions.
  • Support the deployment of systems using corporate change control process.
  • Architect, implement, and support enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering sessions to define functional and non-functional requirements.
  • A minimum two year degree, plus two years related experience, or four year degree required.
  • Desire to develop applications using state of the art AI platforms, PowerApps, Flow, UIPath and mobile platforms.
  • A demonstrated track record of implementing systems through the entire lifecycle, including analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Clearly communicate both verbally and written.
  • Able to develop strong working relationships with team members and the user community.
  • Ability to juggle competing tasks and quickly adapt and business needs are shifted.
  • Ability to connect with business users and actively teach new technologies.
  • A minimum two year degree, plus two years related experience, or four year degree required.
