What you’ll do:
  • Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Digital Manufacturing and Industrial IoT, Quality Engineer
  • Location: Waterloo, Ontario (or Virtual/Remote)
  • Expected start date to end date: May 2022 - September 2022
In this role, you’ll:
  • Analyze, define, implement and execute quality and test related activities per given quality and test strategy for the product
  • Work with other QE and Dev to architect and build our test frameworks for automated system tests
  • Develop, maintain and execute automated tests
  • Analyze test results (issues) and take appropriate follow-up actions (troubleshooting, basic debugging, environment set up, etc.)
  • Maintain a strong focus on quality to ensure successful user experience and customer success
  • Collaborate and work as part of a dynamic and motivated team
  • Effectively communicate with local and remote teams
Who you are:
  • We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
  • Must be available to work during Eastern time zone. Some degree of flexibility with regards to working hours can be discussed.
  • Must reside in Canada.
  • Must be able to work independently and unsupervised for long periods of time, as this is a virtual position.
  • Must have proper infrastructure at home if this is the chosen work location, otherwise must be able to commute to Waterloo SAP office. Stable Internet access, quiet work area, comfortable furniture are examples of proper infrastructure.
  • Post-secondary in progress or completed, preferably in the area of or similar to Computer Science, but Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics are also acceptable.
  • Working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL
  • Prior experience of writing automated tests code using Selenium, Junit, JMeter
  • Experience using issue tracking, continuous integration and source control tools. Working knowledge of JIRA, Jenkins& Git are a plus
  • Exhibit passion for customer focused software with a commitment to the entire cloud development lifecycle including design, programming, testing, release management, cloud operations and support & maintenance
