What will you be responsible for?
  • Lead Service Engineer in the capability of Healthcare Intelligence team, will be part of the platform administration team taking care of administration tasks in their Snowflake and Control M environments.
  • As a Lead Service Engineer, you will
  • Manage the health and the capacity of both Prod and non-Prod Snowflake data platform and Control -M Orchestration.
  • Snowflake Administration including RBAC expertise, roles and auditing, monitor & compute usage & costs, architecture, and policies.
  • Control-M including scheduling of multiple datamarts, dependency checking, and automation
  • Establish audits/traces to assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems.
  • Analyze infrastructure performance and implement solutions related to the performance.
  • Collaborate with US counterparts to coordinate infrastructure activities (passwords, releases, upgrades, etc.).
  • Implement technology interactions based on company and industry best practices.
  • Build and implement monitors and utilities.
  • Provide Level 3 support, including managing complex escalations, root cause analysis, and vendor coordination.
  • Monitor infrastructure error logs and take necessary actions.
  • Support infrastructure installations and migrations, upgrades and patches, wherever required.
  • Manage all aspects server changes (schedule, communicate, impact assessment, etc.). Provide support for access based on appropriate security for applications and end users.
  • Work with respective vendors for technical support.
  • Maintain support documentation, including FAQs, Knowledge Articles, On-call guides, Run Books, etc. Maintain skills and knowledge
  • Research best practices, current trends, new technology, and techniques and make recommendations to the enterprise architect for changes to the IT roadmap
What would your day look like?
  • Manage access requests and permissions on Snowflake and Control-M.
  • Manage Snowflake Administration including RBAC expertise, roles and auditing, monitor & compute usage & costs, architecture
  • Work with engineers to perform advanced troubleshooting and engineer solutions for complex (for example, unexpected or unanticipated) service issues to restore service with minimal disruption to the caregiver and business.
  • Monitor the environment for any vulnerabilities and work on fixing it
  • Make recommendations on performance tuning and resource optimization.
  • Share cost reports with the management team.
  • Perform DBA housekeeping activities.
  • Manage scheduling of multiple datamarts, dependency checking, and automation
  • in Control-M
Who are we looking for?
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in administration of Snowflake and Control-M experience in a production support environment.
  • Experience in building and implementing infrastructure monitors and utilities.
  • Knowledge of Azure and Health care domain will be a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent.
