  • As part of the Intel IoT edge solution scaling team, we are responsible for enabling and supporting all Intel edge solutions on multiple platforms. In this customer support role, you will mainly focus on Functional Safety, RTOS (Real-time Operating System) related technology and solution which have been one of the key differential factors for Intel products to IoT customers. You will also extend support to other Intel teams such as marketing and sales team on technical presentations, demo creating and training collateral preparations. This will require the knowledge to debug issues in Linux Internals, container, orchestration, integrate and/or port applications, and optimizations and to work within the open-source community. This is an opportunity to apply both technical knowledge and customer enabling skills in a team-oriented environment. Our team operates in a fluid environment that will enable you to engage in a diverse set of responsibilities in support of a variety of Intel IoT edge solutions not just limited to Functional Safety solutions.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Directly engaging customers / internal stakeholders to provide pre and post sales technical support to ensure customer Time to Market (TTM) production ramp.
  • Onboarding Customer and ecosystem partners with Intel Functional Safety and RTOS (Real-time Operating System) technologies on different IoT platforms.
  • Developing collateral and supporting design wins associated with Intel Functional Safety Technology solutions and RTOS, along with actively participating in generating requirements for next generation product based on customer feedback.
  • Support and influence customers / internal stakeholders during all phases of development cycle including feature definition, project setup, project execution and tech support for go-to-market.
  • Replicating and debugging customer reported issues by identifying software issues and proposing changes to customer software or to Intel deliverables e.g. Intel firmware.
  • Providing technical training, consultation, and hands-on assistance to customers in Functional Safety technologies and RTOS.
  • Collaborating with software architects to develop and finalize the platform software requirements.
  • Build innovative Proof of Concept to demonstrate Intel technology advantages.
  • Active participant in virtual technical teams to solve complex problems.
  • Developing and delivering training material for technical field training events.
  • The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications below:
  • Excellent overall understanding of Intel Architecture with one or more of the following: microprocessor architecture, chipset architectures, system architecture, platform hardware design, platform software design, firmware design etc.
  • Learn new technology, work with minimal supervision, establish-track quarterly objectives and multitask effectively.
  • Create customer ready collateral, white papers, and training materials
  • Strong customer communication skills and ability to manage customer urgent requests.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or any other relevant engineering degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or any other relevant engineering degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Linux kernel, embedded software development; debugging on source code level and propose the fix patch.
  • Expertise on firmware and software development and debug
  • Experience in a scripting language e.g., Python, GO, or shell script.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise on enterprise cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience in functional safety and ROTS domain is a plus
