At Danfoss Power Solutions, we are hiring for a Product Manager IoT with flexible location in US or Europe.


As the Product Manager for IoT you will formulate long-term product plans and roadmaps, keeping the organization focused on market needs. You will be managing pricing, promotion and placement of the products throughout their life cycle. The Product Manager works with customers, the development teams, Sales personnel to initiate and coordinate actions that are intended to grow and maintain a successful business on a global scale.


Job Responsibilities

Key tasks
•    Lead strategic product positioning and market launch strategy
•    Owner of marketing plans and business cases for new products
•    Competitor landscape analysis
•    Capture and analyze voice of customer and translate into high-level requirements
•    Define differentiated product value propositions
•    Feature prioritization and backlog refinement
•    Supporting strategic customer opportunities
•    Grow product portfolio into new markets


Background & Skills

Success criteria
•    Bachelor’s degree in in Engineering or Marketing or Master’s Degree in Business Administration
•    5+ years’ experience within the IoT market and selling software services
•    Experience in creating and maintaining successful and profitable product portfolio
•    Self-motivated and able to demonstrate indirect, servant leadership 
•    Communication and networking capabilities across cultures and countries
•    Responsive and high share of personal responsibility
•    Willing to travel up to 10-20% globally
•    English on a high level, written and oral
