PlanetSmartcity is looking for Azure IoT Developers who can work on 1. the Planet SIM Platform and 2. IoT Smart Building backend development and build business logics for various IoT smart city use cases such as Smart water system, Smart irrigation, etc. He/she would understand the overall architecture design of the Planet SIM (Smart Infrastructure management) platform and able to create components as specified in the user stories. He/She would be part of IoT Platform competency team based in Pune, India, and help customise the IoT platform for the global IoT needs of PlanetSmartcity.

• 5 to 8 years of experience as MS Azure cloud/application development experience

• Minimum 1 (one) complete project development experience in MS Azure IoT suite

• Hands-on experience in Visual Studio .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core is Mandatory

• Strong experience in Azure Paas Services such as Azure IoT Hubs, Azure Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, Azure Storages, Azure Cosmos Db, Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vaults, Data Lake, etc.

• Good understanding of distributed and multi-tenant architecture systems

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to develop the components

• Experience in working in an agile environment and using DevOps tool like GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.

• End to End IoT product development, deployment, and production-support experience

• Experience in building IoT SaaS Solutions/platforms for B2B/B2C customers

• Setting up Disaster Recovery system for custom-developed Azure solution

• Exposure to multiple IoT connectivity and transportation protocols such as MQTT, AMQP, etc.

• Exposure to Smart City/Smart building and home automation IoT solutions

• Know-how of embedded hardware devices and its working using various protocols such as BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, etc.
